Orders

Can I cancel or modify my order? ▽

Yes. Orders can be cancelled up to two hours after being placed by contacting the billing department via our chat feature. Orders placed after two hours need to follow the return process.

Which payment methods can I use to pay for my order? ▽

We currently accept payment by credit card. Please contact us if you cannot use a credit card for payment.

Does Lightspeed charge goods and services tax? ▽

Yes. Taxes are calculated based on the shipping address.

How do I know if items are compatible with my setup? ▽

Compatibility is included on each product page. Please reach out to our sales and support teams if you have any questions. We’re here to help you build the right hardware setup for your business.

Shipping

Can I change the shipping method on an existing order? ▽

Unfortunately, we can’t change the shipping method on an order after the order has been placed.

Where do you ship? ▽

We ship to Australia.

If I place an order today, when will my order ship? ▽

Hardware orders placed before 12 PM (AEST) usually ship out the same day. If your order is placed after 12 PM (AEST), it should ship the following day.

Will my order ship in one box? ▽

If you order multiple products, they may ship at different times.

Which carrier do you use? ▽

We use different carriers based on shipping address. The carrier information will be included as part of your tracking information.

How much does shipping cost? ▽

Ground shipping is always free. Standard shipping is free on all orders. Shipping is calculated by weight for expedited orders.

Are duties and taxes included? ▽

Taxes are calculated at checkout. Duties, if applicable, and any related charges are charged to you by the carrier.

How long will my order take to arrive? ▽

Your hardware should reach you in five to seven business days.

If an item is out of stock, shipping may be delayed. If this happens, we will notify you at the time of your order or soon after.

Can I expedite shipping on my order? ▽

Expedited shipping is available on most items. Options are presented during checkout.

Returns

How long do I have to return or exchange a product? ▽

Returns must be initiated within 30 days of receiving hardware. For exchanges, a restocking fee may apply. Please note that if you are returning hardware for a minor issue, we reserve the right to repair or replace the affected product.

When will I see a refund? ▽

Refunds are issued when the hardware is returned and processed. Any shipping charges incurred at the time of sale will not be refunded. Credit will be paid to the credit card used to place your original order. This usually takes about four weeks from start to finish.

How do I submit a return or exchange? ▽

Follow these steps to return or exchange an item.

1. Contact us to initiate a return or exchange within 30 days of receipt.

2. Ship your product(s) back with all original manuals, cables, materials and packaging within 14 days of receiving your labels.

3. Return your product(s) in the same original, new condition.

4. Once your hardware is received a credit will be processed within 14 days. A refund is issued and you'll receive an email containing the credit invoice.

5. For exchanges, a new, separate order can be placed for a new product at any point in this process, on your own through the Lightspeed hardware store website.

Warranty

Do you offer warranties? ▽

Yes. We offer a limited thirty (30) day warranty beginning from the date that products are shipped to you.

For minor defects, we may repair or replace the product without charge for either labour or parts. For repairs and replacements, you may follow the exchange process. For major defects or if Lightspeed is unable to repair or replace the Hardware, we will issue a refund for the net purchase price paid for the affected product.

Following expiration of the limited warranty period, you may still be covered by the relevant product manufacturer’s warranty. You will receive the manufacturer’s warranty and contact information together with the hardware.

Can I buy an extended warranty? ▽

Extended warranties are not available.

What is the warranty process? ▽

To benefit from our product warranty, you must have verified no later than five (5) business days from receipt of Hardware that shipment was accurate and complete. If we deem a product defective and under warranty, we will send a replacement overnight to arrive the next business day (Monday-Friday).

You must return the defective product and all attachments back to Lightspeed. We return the product to the manufacturer for credit, so we must receive the defective product back within ten (10) business days.
